Die irische Ausnahmekünstlerin, eine mit vielen „All Ireland”-Titeln ausgezeichnete Meisterin an der Concertina und Fiddle und auch großartige Sängerin, steht ihr allerdings um nichts nach, auch sie hat einen enorm dichten Termin-Kalender, sei es mit ihrer eigenen Band um ihr aktuelles Solo-Album „Happy Out” zu touren, als Bandmitglied des spanischen Dudelsack-Superstars Carlos Nunez, mit dem sie riesige Konzerte rund um den Globus spielt, oder mit ihrem allerneuesten Projekt „The Basque Irish Connection”, das sie – auch mit aktueller CD – ebenfalls tourt, und das die Parallelen der baskischen und irischen Tradition zeigt, und zuguter Letzt auch fallweise wieder als Solo-Geigerin in der erfolgreichsten Tanzshow der Gegenwart „Riverdance”, mit der Niamh von 1997 bis 2005 als erste Geigerin  den Globus mehrmals umrundete.
